OTHER NEWS
Is another "Narnia" movie coming? While the Narnia movies haven't been huge hits in the U.S., they have done a solid business world-wide. So while the third film, Voyage Of The Dawn Treader wasn't a huge hit for Walden Media and 20th Century Fox, the two are in talks to make a fourth Narnia film. This time, they're looking to adapt "The Magician's Nephew for the silver screen. Narnia fans will note that Nephew isn't the next installment in the series. That's "The Silver Chair". Nephew is a prequel to the Narnia books, though it was published fifth.

SGU may be ending with the second series, but if you are fans of the writers and actors of that show then there could be cause for celebration. "Echoes"  is being developed by SGU visual FX supervisor Mark Savela. The story centers on the struggles of humans trying to survive an alien apocalypse in the near future. The twist on this well-worn premise is that the aliens did not intentionally set out to destroy us; Earth got caught in the crossfire between two extraterrestrial races.

Jodie Foster has revealed she is currently in the process of writing a sci-fi thriller with the hopes to direct. In an interview with The LA Times, Foster said: "There's a family element to it, but it's much more a genre movie." As an actress, Foster has visited the scifi genre before, with Robert Zemeckis' 'Contact' in 1997. She visits the sci-fi world again with Neill Blomkamp's 'Elysium,' the director's follow-up to 'District 9.
